Introducing the RFD-MXY4B-85, a 4-band HF Moxon–Yagi designed for the classic amateur bands: 40, 20, 15, and 10 meters. This unique design combines the advantages of both Moxon and Yagi configurations to create a highly efficient directional beam covering four major HF bands—something every serious ham operator aspires to have.

On 40 meters, instead of using conventional loading coils, the design incorporates capacitance hats. This approach reduces the overall element width while maintaining the true performance characteristics of a full-size Moxon beam.

On the 15 m band, where the antenna operates as a 2-element Yagi, a special reflector phasing method has been applied to enhance performance. A standard 2-element Yagi typically offers only a moderate front-to-back ratio; this optimized phasing technique significantly improves that characteristic.
